Sing Your Rythms


Wrist Strengthening and Endurance

Practicing on non-responsive surfaces, such as carpet, pillows, etc. can be extremely beneficial for strengthening writs and developing endurance. Make sure you start slow, bringing each stroke up high and quick as if it were on a hot stove. Gradually develop your speed. Practice your rudiments and sticking patterns on the carpet for example. This will be beneficial towards your overall playing. Have fun with it, turn the music on while you do it.
